Security dogs, what the work involves
Security work is unglamorous and repetitive, which is exactly why temperament matters more than drive. A dog that cannot switch off after the third false alarm on a night shift is no use to anybody.
A security dog is trained for site patrol, building searches and handler protection, with total handler obedience and documented progression. Dogs are selected for nerve and clarity, exposed to real working environments, and can be supplied as a trained dog only or with a handler.
