FAQs

Common questions.

Honest answers to the questions we get asked most. If you don't see yours here, give us a call — we're always happy to talk it through.

How long does board & train take?+

Programme length depends on the dog and the goals. Most stays are between 2 and 6 weeks. We'll advise on the right length after the initial assessment.

Are your family protection dogs safe around children?+

Yes. Every family protection dog we produce is temperament-tested and trained to be calm and safe with children, visitors and other dogs before it ever leaves us.

Do you train aggressive or reactive dogs?+

Yes — behaviour rehab is a core part of what we do. We assess honestly and only take on cases where we're confident we can make a real difference.

What areas do you cover?+

We're based in Clacton-on-Sea and cover a 30-mile radius for 1-2-1 training. Board & train clients come from across Essex, London, Cambridge, the wider South East and nationwide.

How much does training cost?+

Prices depend on the programme and the dog. Get in touch for an honest quote — we'll never sell you a programme you don't need.

Do you provide ongoing support after training?+

Absolutely. Every client gets aftercare and can reach us on the phone for the life of the dog.

What breeds do you train?+

All breeds. From family companions to full working dogs, three generations of experience means we've worked with every temperament out there.

Can I visit my dog during board & train?+

We generally keep visits limited during the programme so the dog can properly settle and progress — but you'll get regular updates and videos throughout.
